Vaunea is only 7’2” and is only 280# soaking wet. Petite is how her people described her. Her clan in the Battlescars respect her for her fighting ability. She is recognized as above average as a warrior, but she knows in her heart it is due to her dexterity and knowledge of the battle. She carries a Mordenkrad, but calls it a hammer to minimize its brutality.
She left her home and petitioned to enter the College of Saint Bede. She was refused entry saying that she was more apt to be a guard or other type of fodder for battle. She knows this to be a test and has vowed to be accepted amongst the learned of the people of the mountains.
She came across a half-orc spirit talker, a devotee of the god Melora. Amused with the goliath barbarian from the scars who thought herself petite and dextrous, Dyami gave Vaunea some errands to earn some money for food and pointed her towards her destiny.
Those that call her a barbarian, uncouth, stupid and don’t recognize her (in her eyes) amazing intelligence and agility will invoke her wrath quickly. Those that (even pretend) to mistake her for human, flatter her intelligence, or note her greatness in agility will gain her trust.
