The Enemy of My Enemy
The months, season, and days are marked in Legion’s Gates by the Nerathan Calendar, though the years are marked using the nearest estimation scholars have as the year the Last Empire fell as Year 0. This calendar was devised many centuries or millennia ago by the priesthood of Erathis in an effort to categorize and organize the passing of time to aid farmers and other seasonal professions. Unfortunately, because the gods who control the seasons are prone to bickering and fickle attitudes, Spring does not always begin on the first day of New Spring, and so on.
The calendar consists of four seasons, each consisting of three months, each consisting of five weeks, each consisting of six days. This indicates a 30-day month and a 360-day or 12-month year.
The seasons are Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The months are New, Mid, and Old season (for instance, New Spring, Mid Summer, or Old Winter).
