The Enemy of My Enemy
A small, loose organization of tribal villages located in the Ghostwood whose members turn away from modern civilization and prefer communing with the spirits of nature over deity worship.
They are not afraid to work with gods or their worshipers and have a good relationship with the churches of Corellon, Melora, and Sehanine in particular.
Upon reaching a certain age (this age varies by village, usually the age at which a member of the village’s dominant race is considered ready for adulthood), a member of a Spirit Talker village is tasked to leave the Ghostwood and see how others live there lives. Upon returning, the youth declares whether he wishes to become a member of the tribe in full and carry on its traditions or leave and become a member of the wider world. The customs involved with either decision vary from village to village. For instance, a youth deciding to leave the tribe may be banished forever or may be welcome as an honored guest upon returning, but may never again have the opportunity to become a tribesman. Many villages also have customs in place to allow outsiders to perform the ceremonies to become tribesmen.
